Wow, I can't believe that it's been nine months since I last updated on here...sheesh - but wow, I've kind of had a lot going on....
First of all, Josh was away for three months in the Fall and I was pregnant and chasing two not-yet-two-year-olds around - busy times for me.
Secondly, we had the Holidays and family and friends in to see us and Josh's birthday to celebrate and our anniversary all scrunched in there together.
Thirdly, we had a baby girl in January - AT HOME (on the corner of our bed to be exact) - she has been a delight AND a bit challenging too - she's had reflux and has resisted my efforts at getting her on a reasonable schedule, but Audrey is growing and eventually will sleep through the night (at least I sure hope so!)
Fourthly, the twins turned TWO in April! We celebrated by taking them on a REAL train ride which they thought was amazing.
Fifthly, Josh finished his last day of medical school April the 30th and we left on an 18 day road trip on the 7th of May! WHEW - our trip was a HUGE success, due MAINLY to the wonderful people who took us in/put us up, our new Suburban (nicknamed "The Burb") and my incredibly FLOWY children.
SPECIAL THANKS TO: Mary (or Grandma or GG as my children call her) in Louisville, The Reyers in Somerset, the Mosses in Bybee and Morristown, Jeff and Kathy Oakes and Hosanna Fellowship and the Wines in Johnson City, to my parents for the cabin in Pigeon Forge, to my sister and bro-in-law for making the week in Pigeon Forge great and for that two hour nap I got, and for all the people who came to our parties in Johnson City and in Lexington. It was an amazing, wonderful trip and I am just so thankful for our family and our friends that make our lives so rich. Josh, Madelyn, Casey, Audrey and I are the richest people in the whole wide world.
And, I know this seems like a small thing, but to someone trying to lose that "baby weight" I found out today (to my amazement) that I managed to do the whole 18 days without gaining any weight! Woo-hoo!
